  1. 1. The assessment was good. It went along with counting money and helped to reinforce money counting.
    2. Having the computer money game can help the teacher meet individulized needs because he or she can go around and see what scores they have gotten and see where they are having trouble.
    3. The content was goodand would have made a lot more sense using actual money but I know that there was limitations on bringing in fake money. THe videos helped a lot and were very fun for children to do.
    4. Prepared very well and the lesson went very well! Good Job!

  2. Assessment: I feel that you had a great lesson plan but your assessment of their prior knowledge was lacking a little. You did not find out if any of the students knew anything prior to the lesson. I feel that you should have had a little more assessment of prior knowledge. On the other hand the assessment at the end of the lesson plan was at a 7.5-8 on a scale of 1-10. The only reason I put it so low was because you taught about Quarter, Nickels, Dimes and Pennies and there was none of that in the final assessment and I think that is a key part of the lesson and it should be tested.

  3. Preparation: I feel that you were extremely prepared for this lesson plan and that because of that this lesson was a success. The videos that you had prepared for this were very appropriate and they were very informative for the level of student that you were teaching. Songs are always a great way to help children learn things so I commend you on that. It was also nice that you had them prepared so there was no wait time between the two so there was no time for the students to become distracted. You seemed very comfortable in front of the class and that made for a very easy learning environment. One way that you might have been able to improve this is you might have had some example coins so the students could have played with them and became more familiar with them. All in all your preparation was 9.5 out of 10.

  4. Content: there is no doubt that the content of this lesson was there in full. I can not think of anything that you could have added to this lesson to make it better you touched on all aspects.

Individual Needs: I do not recall anything you did for the individual need of your students. You could try pre assessment I believe in that fully it allows you to know understand were your student stand on what you are teaching.

  5. 1. Assessment- I think that your assessment was good, but could have been more tailored to the lesson.

    2. Individualized needs- I thought the you provided a variety of instructtional strategies, from the songs to the interactive computer game, so I have no doubt that you would have been able to appropriately accomodate any student with individualized needs.

    3. Content- I thought the content of your lesson was very well aligned to the standards and objectives you had set in place. The only suggestion that I may have, would have been a pre-assessment to see where the students may have been at with their money counting before hand; however, this may have been done in a previous lesson, it would be up to how you had your unit was organized.

    4. Preparation- I could tell that you were extremely well versed on your material and had put a lot of effort into the effectiveness of you lesson. I give you lesson a solid 9, because I enjoyed it so much! I literally could have sat and played the computer game for hours to see if I could beat my completion time. Overall, awesome job and thanks for sharing!

  6. I think the best part of your lesson was the computer games. That will definitely hook the students and they will be learning while having fun! You where very well prepared and able to answer all questions that came up. I think that the only way to improve the lesson would be to have manipulatives for the students to use. Really good job!

  7. Even though I did not get to be there during your lesson, I think you did a very good job on being prepared. The lesson stayed on grade level and incorporated technology in an interesting way. Money is a great subject to help students relate math to every day needs. I know that my students still struggle with it at middle school level. I wasnt sure what differentiation you would use for special needs, but I like your worksheet assessment. You did a good job at making math look fun!

  9. First off, GREAT JOB! I loved your lesson and it was very fun and exciting to learn. I wanted to keep learning. I loved your youtube videos they really helped. You made math fun and I believe that is very hard considering a lot of people do not like math at all. I actually learned and have a great time doing it. You also helped everyone and made sure everyone was staying on task and participating.
